Dr. Weiss is a distinguished physician-executive with extensive experience in dermatology, clinical research, and healthcare innovation.  Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Dermatology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, he combines clinical expertise with business acumen to advance therapeutic development.   ​As Founder and Director of Clinical Research at Trillium Clinic, Dr. Weiss leads a comprehensive dermatology practice while continuing his established consultancy through Weiss Consulting, where he advises pharmaceutical companies on strategic product development from preclinical stages through commercialization.

His was also a Managing Director at OM1, Inc., a company which developed the landmark 10,000-patient ClinPro-DERM study protocol.  Previously, he founded and led The Weiss Skin Institute which he successfully sold to private equity.  He served as Senior Medical Director at Connetics, where he secured three NDA approvals.

Dr. Weiss completed his medical degree and a Master of Health Science in Clinical Research at Duke University School of Medicine.  He also holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, a bachelor's degree from Yale University, followed by dermatology training at Stanford University School of Medicine.​​
